Description
The Office of International Affairs (OIA) mainly coordinates all official university business requiring foreign contacts and assists all academic programs involving foreign partners. Routine tasks include communicating and negotiating with partner institutions and preparing official documents, promoting faculty and student exchanges, expediting research collaborations, hosting international guests and conferences, and advising the President on international matters. In addition, OIA drafts guidelines and oversees an annual budget for the university’s internationalization programs under the general supervision of the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China.
