Utrecht University offers a wide range of Bachelor's degree programmes and Master's degree programmes taught in Dutch. Together, these cover virtually all disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, exact sciences and the biomedical sector. Over the years, Utrecht University has become a truly international enterprise. Every year hundreds of foreign students come to Utrecht to take one of the hundreds of courses taught in English, to follow a Master’s degree programme, to study at the international University College or to participate in the Utrecht Summer School. Utrecht University offers a wide variety of excellent programmes in English. Before you apply to one of our programmes, you should make sure you are aware of all the financial implications of doing so. The costs of living and studying abroad are often an obstacle to international students, who will also need to pay tuition fees and international travel expenses. You will find information on various financial matters in this website. Utrecht University also has an extensive network of sports and cultural facilities.
