Over the years, the College has remained true to this vision, offering students solid professional training grounded in a tradition rich in the liberal arts. Consistently cited on the national level for the quality of its academic programs, Saint Joseph College is committed to responding to the needs of an ever changing society. The beautiful 84-acre West Hartford campus houses The Women's College, the coeducational Prime Time Program and Graduate School, and The Gengras Center. Located one block from campus is the renowned School for Young Children, one of the oldest early childhood centers in the state. The School for Young Children also serves as an on-site laboratory for preschool teacher training. The College's newest facility, The Carol Autorino Center for the Arts and Humanities, houses a 350-seat auditorium, five art galleries to showcase the College's extensive fine arts collections, classrooms, faculty offices and more. The campus is easily accessible and offers ample parking, residence halls, dining facilities, the Pope Pius XII Library with over 133,700 volumes and online resources, The O'Connell Athletic Center, and a state-of-the-art Information Technology Network Center.
