Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, founded in 1966, is a private university dedicated to finding, educating, and graduating the young men and women that Guatemala desperately needs to provide the talent, ideas and man power necessary to develop the society and economy of this growing country. Universidad del Valle produces professionals as well as trained technicians - responsible problem solvers who can address the challenges of a developing country. La Universidad del Valle de Guatemala es una institución privada, de carácter no lucrativo y es ajena a toda actividad política o religiosa. Labora con la autorización que le confieren la Constitución Política de la República de Guatemala y la Ley de Universidades Privadas. Se rige por sus estatutos y reglamentos y por los acuerdos emanados de su Consejo Directivo. La Universidad del Valle de Guatemala acoge a docentes, profesionales, investigadores, científicos y estudiantes seleccionados por su capacidad intelectual y por su interés y dedicación al quehacer académico.
