The Education System in Antigua and Barbuda
Since 1973 Antigua and Bermuda has free and compulsory education for boys and girls ages 5 to 16.
Following Hurricane Louis, the education system suffered severe damages.
In the year 2000 the University of Antigua underwent an enlargement and the School of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy were added.
