 Health and Safety in Antigua and Barbuda
The following vaccinations are recommended for those traveling to Antigua and Bermuda:
Hepatitis, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Rabies, Typhoid, Y Fever.
Care should be taken to drink water and eat food that is safe.
The main illnesses suffered by tourist are caused by food and water that contains bacteria, viruses and parasites, which are found throughout the Caribbean.
Mosquitoes also can transmit various forms of illnesses. It is recommended that protection be used to prevent their sting.
