Health and Safety in Albania
Security in Albania has improved in recent years; nevertheless, there is still much organized crime throughout the country. The percentage of crime is very high with armed assaults and robberies, especially at night. It is important to be careful when going out to bars in Tyrant, where there are many attacks of violence.
There are few medical facilities in Albania; in fact, there is shortage of medicine, medical equipment and of specialist doctors.
