Albania, located in the Southwest of Europe, is divided in 12 cities, which are further divided into 36 territories. The capital of Tyrannous, with 700.000 thousand inhabitants, is the only Albanian city that surpasses 100.000 inhabitants.
More than one third of Albania it is covered with forests and marshes and half of the working population work in agriculture. The Albanians reside, generally, in areas of normal altitude. Only 37% reside in urban centers.
Most of the population is Albanian, with about 3% being Greek.
