Health and Safety in Armenia
For the most part the health and security system of Armenia is financed by the State.
Even though the health allocation has been raised in the last few years, it is not enough to cover the needs of Armenians.
The current quotas are only enough to cover salaries and public services.
Many rural clinics and district hospitals that are financed by the local administration are in very poor conditions.
Currently near 70% of medical equipment, medicines, children vaccinations are donated bu international humanitarian organizations.
