The largest city in Azerbaijan in its capital Baku.
The most prominent part of the city is the old quarter, an area of narrow streets where merchants set the rug, ceramics, and antique stands.
In Baku you can visit the Nizami Literature Museum, the Shirvanshahs palace and the Maiden Tower.
Outside the old quarter and along the coast is the area named by its residents bulva. It is similar to a park where many Baku’s families go for a stroll in the evenings.
