Bulgaria has railway links with Greece, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey. The Bulgarian State Railways is the biggest railway transporter in the country, the headquarter is located in Sofia. Being a major intersection between Europe, Africa, and Asia, 5 of the 10 Trans-European corridors run through Bulgaria. The country has also several motorways under construction such as the Trakiya motorway, Chermo More, Hemus motorway, Struma motorway, and Lyulin motorway. The country has 5 international airports located in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna, and Gorna Oryahovista. Key domestic airports are in Vidin, Pleven, Silistra, Haskovo, Stara Zagora, Sliven, and Targovishte. Still the cheapest way to travel around major cities is by bus. Major bus companies that offer timetables and prices in English include the GRUP Plus and Biomet. A lot of taxi drivers know limited English. Some taxis have already GPS devices installed on their units.

The major wireless providers in the country are Mtel, Globul, and Vivatel which are all using GSM/3G standards. Internet access is readily available in nearly all cities and towns. Broadband Internet varies from cable, ADSL, WiMax to fiber optics. Wireless connections are also offered in public areas such as cafes, restaurants, and hotels.
