Visa application requirements for Bolivia

Nationals of the following countries are not required to obtain a visa: Argentina, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Poland, Singapore, Slovak Republic, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, United States of America, Uruguay, and Vatican City. The said citizens can stay in Bolivia for up to 90 days. Citizens of the following countries that are required to get a transit visa: Afghanistan, Albania, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Moldova, Montenegro, Nigeria, Serbia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. Validity of transit visa is up to 15 days.

The cost for specific purpose visa (those who plan to engage in education, business and any other activities not connected to tourism) is £61.50, student visa is £31 and the cost for tourist visa and transit depends on the nationality; time required to issue a visa also depends on the nationality. The following are the requirements for tourist visa: completely filled up and signed visa application form, valid passport (1 year validity), photographs passport size, copy of round trip ticket or confirmed itinerary, certificate of vaccination for yellow fever maybe needed, and fee which can be paid thru check or cash. While the additional requirements for specific purpose visa is the letter from the company indicating the purpose and duration of the visit. And for student visa, the validity of passport must be 2 years and medical certificate is also required.
