Interesting locations in Chile

Some of the famous beaches in the country are Bahia Inglesa (located in Atacama Region); Colún (found in south of Corral and west of La Unión); Hornitos (situated in north of Mejillones) and Reñaca (located in Valparaiso Region). Resorts and ski areas found in the country are Antillanca (resort in the Puyehue National Park within southern Chile); Coihaique (capital of Aisén Region and Coyhaique Province of the country); Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve (sited east of the Los Ríos Region); La Parva (situated in northeast of the Chile); Mocho-Choshuenco (is a stratovolcano located in Los Ríos Region, Andes); and Valle Nevado (sited in west of Santiago and one of the most modern ski centers in the country).

National park in Chile that are must-to-see include the Alberto de Agostini (sited in portion of Tierra del Fuego); Corcovado (latest parks of Chile and includes the volcanoes Yanteles and Corcovado); Huerquehue (sited in Andes and includes millenarian forests of Araucarias); Nahuelbuta (situated in Araucanía Region and the surroundings offers the Cougar, Darwin's Fox, Pudú, Magellanic Woodpecker and Chucao Tapaculo) and Volcán Isluga (sited in Tarapacá Region in Andes and includes numerous ceremonial cities within the park).

Places included on World Heritage list are Churches of Chiloe (one of most famous buildings of Chilota architecture which totally built in native wood in an island noted for its moist and rigorous climate); Orongo (is part of Rapa Nui National Park and has a remarkable spot on the crater lip of Rano Kau); Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter Works (sited in northern Chile and in 2005 confirmed as UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Valparaíso (situated in central Chile and one of the most significant seaports).
