The system of transportation in Germany is well developed.

There is no speed limit in the German highways although the frequent traffic jams cause the traffic to move slower.

The railroad system is good and connects all areas of the country. It is frequently used for freight transportation and passengers.

The rivers are used as a means of transportation, the Rhine and various channels such as Mittelland and Kiel. The main port is Duisburgo.

Near Frankfurt is the largest international airport in Europe.
