Gastronomy in Algeria

The typical food of Algeria is influenced by Arabic, Turkish, and French cuisine.

The food is flavorful and can he spicy hot. Commonly used spices are saffron, ginger, garlic cumin, mint and parley.

Most restaurants in Algeria are French and Italian restaurant although they can also prepare the typical Algerian food.

The typical Algerian dishes are cuscus, soups, kebabs and rice.

The typical Algerian drink is mint tea.
