Algeria is located in North Africa. In the southern part of the country there is a chain of mountains, the Tellian Atlas, and the Sahara Dessert. North of the country is the Mediterranean Sea.
Algeria is one of the countries with lowest percentage of tourist in spite of the beauty of its dessert, its historic cities and its sandy beaches. The reason is the political violence and unrest in which the country lives.
