Guinea can be reached by plane, train, or car. Air France and SN Brussels have direct flight to Guinea. There are 8 airports in key cities – Conakry, Broke, Faranah, Fria, Kankan, Kissidougou, Koundara Sambailo, Labe, Macenta, Nzerekore, and Siguiri. Taxis are the most common and cheapest mode of transportation when traveling from city to city in Guinea. But keep in mind that there are curfews at night and local transports are normally able to leave Conakry after dark. The Trans-West African Coastal Highway, a transnational freeway project linking 12 West African coastal countries, links Conakry to Guinea-Bissau and to 13 other ECOWAS nations upon completion of Sierra Leone and Liberia.

There are currently 2 private ISPS in Guinea that provide full Internet services – Mirinet and ETI-BULL. Some of the mobile providers in the country include Areeba Guinea, Cellcom, INTERCEL, Orange Guinee, and Sotelgui. Guinea has 4 AM, 8 FM, and 3 shortwave stations as of 1998. There are also 6 TV broadcast stations. Popular newspapers in the country include the Diplomate, Horoya, Observateur, Populaire, Sanakou, and Sud-Economie.
