Getting Visas to Guinea

Nationals of the following countries are not required to obtain a visa: Algeria, Benin, Cape Verde, Cuba, Egypt, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Romania, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Tunisia and Yugoslavia. The said citizens can stay in Guinea for up to 3 months. The cost for tourist and business visa for single-entry (valid for up to 1 month) is £65 and for double-entry (maximum of 3 months to stay) is £90. The charge for transit is around £65. Time required to issue a visa depends on the nationality. For more details contact the Embassy.

Please do take note that application forms are available in consular section at the embassy and during transit time the passport should be left with Immigration. The following are the requirements for tourist visa: completely filled up and signed visa application form, valid passport (6 months validity), photographs passport size, evidence of enough funds to spend during the period of stay, copy of round trip ticket or confirmed itinerary and also the certificate of vaccination for Yellow fever is needed. While the additional requirements for business visa are business letter with company letterhead indicating the purpose, duration of the visit, name and address of the company to be visited, hotel information and addresses, invitation letter from company host in the country and a financial assurance from the company.
