Places included on the UNESCO World Heritage list are Royal Hill of Ambohimanga (located in the province of Antananarivo Avaradrano and it consists of a burial location and royal city), The Rainforests of the Atsinanana (known for its excellent biodiversity and an extraordinary proportion of endemic kinds of animals and plants) and Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve (contains karstic landscapes and limestone).

Popular lakes found in Madagascar are Lake Alaotra (sited in Toamasina Province, the largest lake in the country and well-off home for wildlife), Lake Tritriva (is a volcanic lake in the region of Vàkinankàratra), Lake Tsimanampetsotsa (is a saline lake which is located in Toliara Province) and Lake Kinkony (sited in Mahajanga Province and the lake is a significant wetland place for birds).

Some of the national parks that are well-like include Isalo (in Toliara Province and recognized for its wide range of land including structure of sandstone, grassland and deep canyons), Masoala (sited in northeast and the park protects coastal forest, rainforest, flooded forest, mangrove and marsh), Amber (in Antsiranana Province and the park is recognized for its crater lakes, water falls and has different species that live in the park like reptiles, mammals and birds), Andringitra ( located in Fianarantsoa Province and recognized for its rough land which includes deep valleys, mountain peak and ridges)

Other tourist destinations include Nosy Be (the island is popular for its beaches like Andilana which is very accessible), Ifaty and Nosy Ve (Ifaty has an enjoyable beach and the Nosy Ve island is tremendous place for snorkeling), Morondava (has a wide waterfront and white sandy beach) and Ile Ste-Marie (there are numerous historic places including the oldest Catholic church in the country and the island is also recognized for its gorgeous coral reefs and white sand beaches).
