The proof of accommodation will inform the Namibian government that when you land in the country, you will have a roof over your head a suitable place to live in during your stay. This will allow the government to not worry about your well-being and have be liable for you while in the country.

In attaining the visa, it will help you get it if you have a letter of invitation to visit the country. Suppose you have a relative or family there, then it would be wise to have that relative of yours to write a note to the embassy that they wish for you to visit.

When you acquire your visa, it is only valid for three months from the date of entry. Nationals from certain countries are fortunate enough to not need a Namibian visa.
