Aside from the orthodox government-owned academic institutions, there were also hundreds of schools which are operated by the Catholic Board of Education and these schools contributed a lot to the Pakistani educational system. However it is a sad reality that despite the efforts of the government and private institutions to send children to school, not everyone can finish their education. There are only 63% of the students that can finish primary school education. Looking at it closely, only 68% of male students and 72% of female students can reach grade 5.
