For a long period of time, tourism has been a significant money profits industry for the country. For the reason that Puerto Rico is a haven with various cultural, historical buildings and natural wonders that invites a wide-range of tourists. Some noted beaches in the country are Flamenco (settled in the Island of Culebra, one of the top rated beaches in the world) and Luquillo (services inside include a cafeteria, outdoor and indoor showers, bathrooms and lockers). The La Fortaleza built between 1533 and 1540 to protect the harbor of San Juan was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1983. It is also known as Santa Catalina Palace, the oldest house in the New World. San Juan National Historic Site consists of powder houses, colonial-era forts, bastions, and some old city wall.
