Visa application requirements for Tunisia

Tunisia is an accommodating State that offers entry passes to foreign nationals. It has strategic distribution of Consulates located in almost all countries globally. It even provides privileges on foreign nationals of certain countries. All these fall under the regulation of Tunisia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Anyone is welcome in Tunisia for visas are processed and granted upon completion of requirements. Visas issued include business visa, employment visa, residence visa, tourist visa, student visa, and visitor’s visa. Common documentary requirements include valid passport, filled-out visa application form, confirmation or reference letter (if necessary), bank statement, and the like.

Western countries are commonly given privileges on Visa exemption. All it takes is to secure passport and return ticket to be granted official entry. List of Visa-exempted countries includes Australia (unless specifically restricted), Britain, Canada, and United States of America. Other European nations such as Czech and Slovak Republics, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland (given it is a group travel under recognized packaged holiday). Exemption granted on nationals of these countries is but limited to short stay of three months.

Presentment of diplomatic or special passports entitles holders either absolute or partial visa exemption. Unlimited stay without visa is guaranteed to nationals of Brazil (diplomatic passports only), Cote d’, Egypt, South Korea, Spain, and Switzerland. Limited stay without visa is vested to nationals of Hungary for up to one month stay; Benin, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium, Pakistan, and Thailand for up to three months stay; and Brazil for six months stay (special passports only).
