Undergraduate Certificate in Global Economics

The Undergraduate Certificate in Global Economics at UIBS is an undergraduate program that provides students with the foundations of global economic markets. Students study international economics and banking and how to manage a business with cross-cultural economics in mind. Students in this program can apply their studies to immediately improve their prospects in the workforce. Recipients typically utilize their certificate to obtain entry-level positions in business, or to expand their academic credentials.

The Undergraduate Certificate in Global Economics takes 30 credits to complete or 2 quarters of 15 credits each, or in 1 quarter of 20 credits combined with Term A or B of the summer quarter for the remaining 10 credits.

Applicants must have a proficiency in the English language, a high school diploma or the equivalent. Both EU/EEA and Non-European students must provide the application form, the non-refundable application fee, curriculum vitae, copy of their valid passport or identity card, copies of all relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates and transcripts (not applicable to transfer and exchange students), a letter of motivation stating their career objectives and program expectations and two passport-sized photographs.

UIBS operates on a rolling admissions process, so there are no application deadlines. Students who need a student visa should apply a few months in advance to allow time for the visa to be processed by the Spanish Consulate

The tuition for the Undergraduate Certificate in Global Economics is 6 000,00 euros on campus and 12 000,00 CHF online.
