Ph.D. in Management

The Ph.D. in Management at IESE educates students on the research aspect of business management. Students who enroll in this program learn to ask questions that are relevant to how business is managed. Such research helps us understand, for example, how choices can affect a company's financial and organizational dynamics, how globalization affects different economies, etc. Graduates of this program can expect careers as professors in business management, research analysts, management consultants, and more.

Requirements

Applicants will need to complete the Master of Research or be in the possession of a postgraduate degree in research methodologies for business and management sciences. Students must provide the application form, the non-refundable application fee, scanned copies of BA or BS, diplomas, and transcripts from attended institutions for at least six months, photograph, GMAT/ GRE, must prove a proficiency in the English language by English being their native language, earned a degree in the English language or IELTS, TOEFL results, copy of your passport, three letters of recommendation, motivation letter, essay on research interests, military or civil service obligations (if applicable), fellowship form. A personal meeting with the Admissions Committee will be scheduled to further review your application and potential admission.

Dates and Deadlines

The application deadline for the next intake of the ESE Master of Research in Management is January 10. (applicable to students not in possession of a postgraduate degree in research methodologies for business and management sciences.

Fees

There is a non-refundable 50 euro application fee. Tuition is 30,000 euros. The Ph.D. program operates under a financial support package which covers tuition and a 16,695 euro yearly stipend to cover living expenses. To qualify for financial support, students are required to work as research assistants for at least 10 hours a week from their second year. This aid is renewable upon satisfactory progress in the program for up to 5 years.
