Business Families: How to Create Value Through Generations is a program offered completely online and only in Spanish at IE. Over the course of five weeks, students learn how to manage and grow family businesses in a global economy. The focus is also placed on how to successfully co-manage the business within the family and what strategies to employ once a generational transition is made in management. Students in this program are typically partners and managers in business families.

This program takes approximately 1 month to complete.
Applicants are required to provide a copy of their university diploma, official academic record, one-page curriculum vitae/resume, an English language certificate (for non-native speakers) from TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency level, (a certificate is not required if the undergraduate degree was completed in English) a photocopy of their passport, and a photo size card, In addition, applicants may need to complete an online exercise consisting of three questions, an entrance exam, and a personal interview (face-to-face or via Skype) with an associate director of the admissions team. Please note that requirements are contingent on the selected program.
Although applications are processed on rolling admissions, this program has an intake period in spring and winter respectively.
