Description
Semester long study programs in Cuba for graduate and undergraduate students. Short term assisted research projects for graduate students and professors in a wide range of fields: Cuban, Caribbean & Latin American literature; Cuban and Cuba-U.S. history; international studies; women's studies; education and literac; public health, social work; architecture and urban development; sociology; religion; the arts. These are just some of the areas of research and/or study possible.

Common Ground is one of the very few organizations in the United States licensed by the U.S. government to facilitate study in Cuba. All U.S. students and universities must also have a license. Common Ground will help institution or individual apply. Professors may travel under a general license for purposes of conducting research. Institutions that Common Ground works with in Cuba include the University of Havana, Casa de las Américas, the GDIC, and others. We have been arranging exchanges with Cuba for 35 years and are very experienced in this unusual study destination of Latin America and the Caribbean
