| Contact this school | | Description | | Although German as a foreign language has become less commonly spoken among students around the world, students` interest in getting to know Germany and Europe during their studies has not diminished. Only a small number of German universities offer courses in English that would meet this interest while at the same time ensuring an academic level fully recognized by universities abroad. IUSP has been designed to fill this gap.
Participants can choose from three subject areas, each being offered in two modules. In the fall semester 2005 students will be able to choose two (or more) of the following courses:
Political Science.
Introduction to European Integration.
Introduction to Peace and Conflict Studies.
Subject Area: Economics.
Introduction to Investment and Finance Theory Economic Policy.
Subject Area: Psychology.
National Character.
Aggression and Violence.
As it is impossible to immerse one’s self in another culture without knowing the language, intensive German language courses are an integral part of the program.
