Description
Tourism is a highly growth industry and employing millions world wide. There is an ever increasing demand for qualified staff especially in International Tourism Management. It is a well known fact that the homeland for tourism studies is Switzerland that has well established institutes such as ITIS, the International Tourism Institute Switzerland. However, one of the main problems that students are facing today is finance. Tuition fees and living cost are so high in countries like Switzerland, UK and USA. Not everyone can afford to study abroad unless they come from a very wealthy family. But there is a solution. Malta has came up with an idea that will definitely help many students to acquire a highly recognised degree through the franchise institute, ITIS Malta. Now international students have the advantage to study in Malta and acquiring a Swiss qualification for less then half the cost. Furthermore, once the student has completed his studies in Malta, up to Higher Diploma, the students is automatically accepted to continue his final studies for Bachelor's degree at ITIS in Switzerland with the opportunity to take a paid training programme up to a maximum of 25 weeks. ITIS Malta institute concentrates in small groups of students. We believe in keeping a balance between our academic staff and students in such a way that every student means a lot to us, not just a number as it often happens in large institutes or universities. Although small in size, students can find all the necessary tools that they need for their studies. The school has a well stocked library, photocopy service, free internet usage, a canteen and personal student care and consultancy. The institute has 8 classrooms available in the main building for ITIS students apart from its language school that offers students English language support. Malta is also a well known destination for EFL (English as a foreign language) training schools. We engage only highly qualified and professional lectures. It's worth mentioning that ITIS Malta is continually supervised by Switzerland ensuring that the highest standards are provided at all times.
