Description
Travel with AIU faculty and staff to Tokyo, capital city of the world’s second largest economic force. Japanese society is governed by a complex web of social conventions and rules of behavior that are a mystery to other societies. The purpose of this study tour is to explore those societal differences and compare and contrast them with the artistic and commercial norms of your own culture. This comparative analysis is accomplished through visits with business leaders and professionals within the arts, fashion and media industries. They will help you develop an understanding of Tokyo’s commercial environment and how it fits into the region and the rest of the world.
