| Contacta con este centro | | Descripción | | SAIT is Canada’s premiere polytechnic providing relevant, skill-oriented education which equips graduates to compete successfully in the changing world of work. Established in 1916, SAIT provides career training to more than 70,000 registrants by 1,900 faculty and staff with a budget of $190 million.
SAIT offers four applied degrees, 74 diploma and certificate programs, 38 apprenticeship and pre-employment programs and 1,900 continuing education and customized business and industry courses. Several transfer agreements with educational institutes in Canada and overseas provide SAIT graduates with an opportunity to further their credentials.
Over the last five years SAIT graduates have enjoyed an employment rate of 97 per cent. Graduates are in demand because SAIT programs are designed with employers in mind. More than 1,000 business professionals provide advice on 62 program advisory committees.
SAIT recently completed a $176 million expansion which included 83 state-of-the-art classrooms, construction of the Clayton Carroll Automotive Training Centre building, Canada’s most comprehensive aviation training facility at the Calgary International Airport and a student residence. To accommodate the increasing use of laptop computers in SAIT programs the campus has been equipped with more than 14,000 network data ports and ten wireless hotspots.
The Institute has just completed its five-year, $80 million Invest in Technology campaign. The campaign raised just under $85 million ─ a testament to the prestige with which SAIT programs are held by business, industry and individuals.
At SAIT, students don’t just learn about things, they learn how to do things.
