Description
IEDE was found in Madrid in April 1991, as a private institution independent by a group of businessmen, professionals and educators. With the launch of the MBA Classic, appeared what has been recognized as a distinctive value of IEDE: “The new way in management education” based in our exclusive teaching method. Since then thousands of students have graduated with our School and have accelerated in a successful managerial career. In Madrid, during most part of the year, students from many different nationalities share their effort and experiences in our local and our international programmes, giving the School a truly multicultural dimension. At IEDE we are not so interested in teaching as in making sure that students have the right means and stimulation to learn, developing in them a greater thirst for knowledge once they leave our school. In short, making sure they have learned how to learn. We are, of course, interested in technical knowledge, in what is done and how. But we are especially interested in getting the best individual result from each of our students. We try to be available to our students; providing individual attention; helping students to succeed. In addition, the School links the local programmes with a commitment. The MBA Good Job gives students a practical training that gives them the skills needed for an optimal education and to assume professional responsibilities. That is why IEDE guarantees the access to their first job. The Executive MBA Lead Club (The Lifetime Executive Advancement Development Club) is our commitment to a whole generation of managers; an on-going training programme offering two hundred hours per year, free, for the rest of their professional life after the student has finished the MBA. But our international programmes also have a commitment with our students related to our multicampus structure that they experience a truly international education. All programmes begin in Madrid where the core of the MBA it is delivered. This represents for students an immersion in the essence of the management techniques and practices based on the following areas: General Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resources.
