Educación Para Todos was founded in 1991 by a group of University students. Since then, Educación Para Todos has taught Spanish and introduced Guatemalan culture to students from all over the world. In our program, students have the option to experience “total immersion” by living with a Guatemalan family, volunteering with various organizations, and participating in social, cultural, academic, and sports activities that we offer every week. All of these opportunities are of course optional – you decide based on your own particular needs and interests. A part of your money will go to our schoolarships program that helps poor Guatemalan students to attend the elementary and high school.

Our one-to-one teaching approach is one of the more effective methods for learning a language. Our teachers have a minimum of five years of experience teaching Spanish, have a solid background in Spanish grammar, and are knowledgeable about the history and culture of Guatemala and Latin America. All of our teachers are University students or professionals in areas such as social work, psychology, education, agriculture, etc. Educación Para Todos uses a proven curriculum that includes 500 exercises covering all aspects of Spanish grammar. Our price for 2006 is: from January to May AND from September to December: $135 dollars for one week. But if you stay here 6 weeks or more, you will pay only: $125 dollars each week. From June to August: $150 dollars for one week. Nevertheless, if you stay here for more than 3 weeks in summer, each week costs: $140 dollars. These prices include: 5 days with 5 hour of Spanish Lessons each week; home stay with a Guatemalan family (7 days/week with 3 meals per day) and our cultural program.
