FLINDERS UNIVERSITY Adelaide, South Australia Flinders University’s mission is expressed in four words: Think, Learn, Lead, Link. These inform our teaching, research and community engagement and focus our commitment to innovation. Flinders University was established in 1966 and has a total number of student enrolments of 15,110 (2005), with approximately 2,550 international students coming from more than 83 countries. To meet the needs and interest of students and the expectations of the wider community, we regularly reshape courses and devise new ones. In recent years, we have introduced degrees as diverse as nanotechnology, marine biology, cultural tourism, international business, behavioural science, forensic and analytical chemistry, innovation and enterprise, environmental management and creative arts. At the same time we have built on proven strengths in traditional science, the social sciences, the humanities and professional fields such as education, allied health, psychology and commerce, and created a highly successful law course and Australia’s first graduate-entry medical program.
