Tourism & Hospitality is the world's largest industry and there are exciting international careers available to well-qualified and skilled graduates. At William Blue, each year we train over 250 Australian and international students for success in careers in the Hospitality and service sectors - hotels, convention centres, resorts, clubs, property development companies and financial consultancies, to name but a few. Our graduates are highly regarded by employers for their level of skills and their ability to "hit the ground running" in a demanding industry. A key factor in this high-level preparation of students for the "real world" of the Hospitality industry is the full integration of paid Work and Industry Placement into the curriculum. Years 1 and 2 at William Blue International Hotel Management School includes paid Work & Industry Placements. Students are required to complete a minimum of 800 hours of Work Placement in order to meet the requirements of the Advanced Diploma qualification. This is a special training package for Hospitality Management training. Year 3 at William Blue - the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality & Tourism) year - does not include any Work & Industry Placements in the training program. Students who wish to continue their Work Placements in this year are only permitted to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week during semester, as per Student Visa regulations.
