In accordance with the National Development Plan (NDP1&2), Vision 2030, and indeed its motto: "Education, Service and Development", the University's programmes are designed to meet national human resources requirements through quality teaching, research, consultancy, and community services.
Through its highly competent and dedicated staff and quality infrastructure, the University has been serving the nation in various ways, and contributed significantly to national reconstruction and development since its inception.
