As socio-political, economic, cultural and religious foundations shake in a modern yet ever-violent world, openness to learning and to the new, and trust in the goodness of the Creator and the creation could unfortunately be replaced by radical and totalistic answers, or apathy, carelessness, and isolation at best. As a consequence, we may lose our vision and hope, and the joy of living could fade out.
Therefore, it is our educational calling at Haigazian University to keep building bridges: bridges of knowledge and information, bridges of hearts and minds, bridges of wills and actions, bridges of persons and communities, and bridges of faith, hope and love. We want you to see that the real is salvageable, and that various levels of the ideal are attainable.
