The areas of interest cover issues in media and communication studies, educational research, languages, history and social development, consultation and therapy. The research projects are of interest to small and medium-sized businesses as well as public service institutions. The preferred method is longterm, interdisciplinary collaborations undertaken from a joint perspective.
The many, diverse research projects of the Faculty of Cultural Studies are all intercultural and multi-perspective in their orientation and have a firm human dimension. Special projects are dedicated to the Robert Musil Institute for Literary Research/the Carinthian Literary Archive, and to the Centre for Sign Language and Communication for the Hearing Impaired. The areas of Applied Cultural Studies and Gender Studies are currently being expanded. | | Descripción en otro idioma | | Höchste Ausbildungsqualität und Wissenssteigerung durch Forschung profilieren die Lehre an der Alpen-Adria-Universität.
