University Nord represents a new type of university – broad-based and interdisciplinary, small and personality focused. Our slogan “Education makes free” reflects our main goal: to contribute to formation of free person and independent society. We regard highly person’s originality but we also consider important his/her openness. We foresee ourselves as a network-based university in co-operation with the Estonian and world universities that enables the students to choose better their education.
Our university has international co-operation contacts with several universities in Germany,
The Netherlands, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, England, etc., for students’ and teachers’ exchange. University has also joined an international educational network for schooling professionals in Business Administration. This network enfolds campuses in Switzerland, Creek, Spain, Singapore, China, etc. A part of the studies can be performed at University Nord.
New society needs in addition to the international business managers more and more specialists in marketing, psychologists–counsellors, lawyers of International and European Law, etc. All these specialities can be learned at our university on the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. Commercial law and Real Estate law can be learned on the level of applied higher education. Doctoral studies are open in Jurisprudence and Psychology.
