Description
GRIGOL ROBAKIDZE UNIVERSITY was founded the year after the act concerning the establishment of private, higher educational institutions was introduced. The founders of the University spent a whole year studying the higher educational systems and pedagogical technologies of the civilized countries of the world. This gave them a firm basis to form a western model of leaning and teaching which conditioned the future success of the University. The University carried out marketing research very thoroughly, in order to detect what other, new specialities needed to be established. Today Grigol Robakidze University is one of the famous and prestigious universities. Its reputation is determined first of all by its rich teaching resource - material-technical base which is still unique and has no equal in Georgia, also by those newest teaching and learning technologies, which fully match with the European standards. About 150 professors and lecturers work at the University. Over 800 students study happily and successfully. Many American, English and German specialists deliver lectures and carry out research together with students. Every year students participate in scientific conferences, TV journalist students make presentations, win in Georgian and international festivals, etc.
