| No e-mail available | | Description | | Chu Hai is the oldest private institution in Hong Kong, founded in 1947 in Guangzhou, China as "Chu Hai University". As a vibrant community of learning, we stand in the service of the local community and the neighbouring regions. Our graduates have played significant roles for the past 59 years in the educational, cultural and economic life of Hong Kong and overseas. Our goal is to nurture individuals not only in possession of professional skill and knowledge but also, perhaps more importantly, as competent citizens with virtue.
Our staff are devoted to teach challenging and professionally relevant courses. As a result, many of our graduates are able to successfully pursue postgraduate studies or to develop their career goals.
As we are aspiring to become a private university in Hong Kong, we have recently undertaken the accreditation process by the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation (HKCAA). I am glad to announce that we have successfully passed the Institution Review; our Degree programmes have also been successfully validated. In 2004, our College has been approved by the EMB to register as an Approved Post Secondary College.
The accreditation exercises of the following ten degree programmes of our College have been successfully conducted by the HKCAA in January 2003, August 2003, April 2004, May 2004 and March 2006 respectively, they have all gained accreditation status from the HKCAA and are fully recognized by the Hong Kong Government.
