Who studies abroad with NYU?
At our academic centers in China, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy and Spain you’ll find a wide range of students. Up to 30% of students at some of our sites abroad come from colleges and universities other than NYU. These include many of the countries top-ranked private and public colleges and universities, giving each international center a diverse feel. All courses taken abroad on an NYU program are recorded on an official academic transcript, which makes for easy credit transfer to other US institutions.

To make study abroad more accessible to students from a variety of different majors, especially those which entail particularly structured courses of study, NYU has created many specialized programs at NYU sites abroad and offers courses which commonly fulfill major or minor requirements.
