The University has over 10,500 students of which 800 are enrolled in postgraduate studies. There are approximately 1,900 members in the faculty which ensures that students benefit from the advantages of more personal attention. Modern resources throughout the campus support the numerous academic programs.
Our extensive library is an integral part of our educational programs. The library contains over 208,000 volumes, a rare and antique book collection, and a periodical department which subscribes to 1,500 publications. The audiovisual center has a collection of over 140,000 slides relating to different subject areas as well as videotapes and music tapes.
The University offers laboratories and workshops in the areas of physics, chemistry, photography, psychology, engineering, communications, architecture, design and nutrition. Other facilities include health services, three cafeterias open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays, an ample auditorium, an on-campus bookstore, a stationery shop and recreational areas.

Si eres alumno de la UIA, tienes la oportunidad de realizar estudios en el extranjero, lo que te permite enriquecer tu formación profesional y obtener una valiosa experiencia. Puedes cursar, bajo este esquema, uno o dos semestres, a través de diferentes programas como:
• Intercambio.
• Estudios en el extranjero (PEX).
• Programas especiales.
En el Programa de Intercambio puedes solicitar estudiar en una de las 150 universidades con las que tenemos convenio de intercambio, en Europa, América, Asia o Australia.
Mediante el Programa de Estudios en el Extranjero (PEX), puedes estudiar en la universidad de tu preferencia o en instituciones con las cuales la Ibero no tenga convenio de intercambio. Los programas especiales están organizados por los Departamentos y generalmente se realizan en Verano. Constantemente se mejoran los términos de cooperación e intercambio con las instituciones de educación superior.
Por otra parte, como académico, en la sección Cooperación Académica podrá encontrar información de utilidad en materias como el Programa de Académicos Visitantes, Becas de Superación Académica y otros más.
