By providing traditional coursework at Goodman, Ridgeland, Grenada, Kosciusko, and various satellite locations as well as coursework through distance learning, Holmes also offers you flexibility and accessibility to plan your future.
The Academic Departments of Holmes Community College offer you a wide range of majors leading to an Associate of Arts (AA) degree comprised of courses that are equivalent to those taken by freshmen and sophomores at a senior college. You should use a copy of the catalog for the college to which you plan to transfer as a guide in selecting your coursework. At Holmes, you will receive a quality education at an affordable cost from fully-qualified instructors in settings that typically have low instructor-student ratios. The Career/Technical Department of Holmes Community College offers you many educational options leading to a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, a two-year technical certificate, or a one-year career certificate. Although the primary emphasis of Career/Technical programs is work readiness for high-demand, high-wage occupations following graduation, some of the programs have articulation agreements that provide for transfer into a four-year program at a senior college.
