Description
Our Mission: Provide quality Portuguese language programs in a professional and friendly environment to create an effective and enjoyable learning experience for all our students. We work hard to create an intimate atmosphere both during and after class time that welcomes, inspires, challenges and responds to each individual student. All of our teachers are professional and experienced native instructors, university graduated and trained in Fast Forward Language Institute's direct approach to language teaching. Porto is a city with an immense historical patrimony, yet is also well-linked to present and future times. As a trading center at the mouth of the Rio Douro, Porto is the second largest city after Lisbon. The place has a number of distinctive atmospheres and this is very evident when visiting the various parts of the city. Our school is located in one the most important street in the city center, just a few minutes walking distance from the oldest part of the city and from the Douro river. Mention the city of Porto and most people immediately think of world famous Port wine, but the city has much more to offer than this. There are many interesting sights to be seen both inside and around the city and it is no coincidence that Porto was chosen as the European Capital of Culture for 2001. the oldest part of the city was classified as a World heritage Site by UNESCO and this includes a vast collection of monuments, churches and public buildings surrounded by Mediaval houses.
