| Contact this school | | Description | | The Universidad Nacional de Cordoba is the oldest in the country and one of the first on the American continent. Currently, it is an important center of reference not only in the cultural/scientific sphere, but also in the political and social ones.
The university of today, completely immersed in the life of our city Cordoba, "la Docta" (the leaned one), inherits a long tradition of struggles and rights and at the same time reflects upon the recent transformations and progress. More than 110,000 students, from this and other Argentine cities and provinces and abroad, study in its classrooms and laboratories, taking advantage of a public education with academic excellence and social commitment.
Today, like yesterday, this centenary House also has people who dream, invent and construct, with enormous talent and valuable results, a university project for all.
| | Alternate language description | | La Universidad Nacional de Córdoba es la más antigua del país y una de las primeras del continente americano. Se ha convertido un importante polo de influencia, no sólo cultural y científica, sino también política y social.
Su estructura académica contempla 12 facultades, 98 institutos de investigación y 3 centros de estudios de posgrado, espacios a los que se suman 20 bibliotecas, 14 museos, dos observatorios astronómicos y dos colegios de nivel medio y terciario.
La Casa de Trejo posee 8.203 cargos docentes y el grueso de su población estudiantil está constituida por 104.218 mil alumnos que cursan alguna de las 90 carreras de grado que ofrece la institución.
Asimismo, 7.111 mil graduados que se forman en las diferentes instancias de posgrado; el nivel terciario cuenta con 1.162 alumnos y el pregrado con 1.402.
