Description
The Swedish Institute (SI) is a government agency. SI offers a web course in Swedish for beginners, and arranges summer courses for students of Swedish. One of the main tasks of the Swedish Institute (SI) is to be a liaison and provide services that facilitate instruction in Swedish language and literature at universities and university colleges abroad. SI also informs about Swedish courses in Sweden.

La tarea del Instituto Sueco es difundir conocimientos sobre Suecia en el exterior y apoyar el intercambio con otros países en los campos de la cultura, la educación, la investigación, y de la sociedad en general. Mediante esas actividades, el Instituto Sueco deberá fomentar los intereses suecos. El Instituto tiene también tareas en el área de la cooperación internacional al desarrollo. Gran parte de nuestro trabajo se realiza junto con las embajadas y los consulados generales suecos.
