The American Graduate School of International Relations and Diplomacy (AGSIRD) is an independent, private, graduate school of international relations and diplomacy. AGSIRD conducts a joint, cooperative program with the Université de Paris Sud Xl, Faculté Jean Monnet de Sceaux. This involves an exchange of faculty members, students and of credits, and extends to joint research activities between AGSIRD and CADMOS of Université Paris Xl. (Center for the Analysis of Disputes and their Modes of Settlement). AGSIRD has a co-operative agreement with the Université de Cergy-Pontoise, Faculté de Droit with an exchange of students and of credits.

AGSIRD is designated by the French Ministry of Education and its Academie de Paris as an Etablissement Privé d'Enseignement Supérieur (Loi du 12 juillet 1875 et Decret du 25 janvier 1876), and is authorized by the French Ministry of the Interior as an institution of higher learning. It is registered under the French law of the 1st July 1901 as a non-profit association.
