Academia Latinoamericana is a privately owned non-profit organization, focused on the promotion of education, culture and knowledge. The school offers a variety of Spanish language courses in Quito, Ecuador, Cusco, Peru, and Sucre, Bolivia. It has also recently developed options in Business, Sciences, Entrepreneurial Development, English as a Second Language and general Liberal Arts Studies, including coursework in History, Indigenous Culture, Medical Vocabulary and more. Service Learning, Internships, North American university credits and custom programs on a year-round basis are available as well. What is unique about the school is that students are given weekly evaluations, based on which they change classes every week. In this way they are constantly challenged without being frustrated that they are falling behind the others. Group sizes include no more than five students per class to ensure enough personal attention for all.
