Description

Ashesi University is a private liberal arts college based in Berekuso. This is a town situated near Aburi, close to Ghana's capital, Accra. The institution was established in March 2002 by Patrick Awuah, a graduate of Swarthmore College and Haas School of Business. Ashesi’s main purpose was to provide educational opportunities for a new generation of motivated, ambitious and ethical business leaders in Africa. The school offers degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science, and Management Information Systems. The academic program is structured with the help of professors from Swarthmore College, University of Washington, Berkley, and University of California. Ashesi University is accredited by the Ghanaian National Accreditation Board.
